BOULDER – Former Colorado men’s basketball standouts KJ Simpson and Cody Williams are once again set for NBA Summer League action with their respective teams, July 9-19 in Las Vegas.

Simpson (2021-24) will play for the Denver Nuggets, with whom he signed a two-way contract midway through the 2025-26 season. Williams (2023-24) is playing for the Utah Jazz, who drafted him with the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Williams has already been active this summer with the Jazz in the Salt Lake City Summer League, which was played July 4-7. Williams averaged 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 57.7 percent from the field in a pair of wins over Atlanta and Memphis.

All 30 NBA teams are represented in the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, with each team playing five games. After each team’s fourth game, the top four teams will meet in the semifinals on July 18, with the championship game on July 19. The remaining 26 teams will play a fifth game between July 17 and 19, with opponent and time to be determined.
